International Folk Art Alliance
Since 2004, the International Folk Art Alliance has staged their International Folk Art Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico, hosting more than 750 “master folk artists” from 91 countries in the world’s largest exhibition and sale of works by premier artisans. Sales over the years have exceeded $20 million. In 2016 the Art Market did over 2.8 million in sales in a short 22 hours. The artwork is consigned to the IFAA and 90% of the sale price is sent back to the artists. This year’s event will take place July 14th, 15th and 16th. Twenty thousand visitors/shoppers are expected to attend making this one of the rarest opportunities to display and sell your work.
The application deadline for the 2018 market is October 1, 2017. A limited number of financial assistance packages are available for first-time participants. The financial assistance form is included in the online application. Returning participants, representatives of major businesses or organizations are not eligible to receive financial assistance.
